Septic System Services & Repairs

Sometimes, during routine maintenance, we come across failed systems. If you are experiencing a sluggish toilet, wet spots in your yard, sewage overflows, or odors in your home, you may be in need of septic system repairs, a complete replacement, or other services, such as:
  • Line Replacements
  • Baffle Replacements
  • Septic Tank Extension Installations

Septic Tank Pumping

Proper septic tank pumping is always done through the manhole, not the smaller inspection ports. Additionally, tanks should be emptied completely and never cleaned with chemicals.

Using our tanker truck we pump residential septic tanks. While pumping, we visually inspect to detect signs of damage or decay. With this, we assess the tank for roots, cracks, sewage levels, and leaks to ensure the inlet and outlet Baffle is in place and functioning.

Preventive Tank Maintenance

Septic tanks should typically be pumped every 2 years, depending upon size and the number of people in the home. If a tank becomes overflowed with particles of scum or sludge, a complete flush out is highly recommended to prevent clogged drain lines and/or system failure.

Septic System Inspections/Certifications

We are certified septic system inspectors through the Maryland Department of the Environment. We perform septic system inspections/certifications for home buyers, sellers, or real estate agents for the sale or purchase of a home. After the inspection is complete, we provide you with a detailed report with our findings and system information. When preparing our final report, we comply with all MDE (Maryland Department of the Environment) recommendations including:
  • Septic Record File Search with the Health Department
  • Owner/Tenant Questionnaire
  • Field Examinations – includes opening, pumping and inspection of the Tank and Septic System
